Those of you who know me, know that I am fascinated by professional hair care; from the performance of the products to the packaging, the way it is marketed, especially though social media, each aspect of a brands presence in the professional world of haircare intrigues me. NVNT™ has just recently came my way and I have been learning all about the products and the ethos behind the brand.
There are some ranges that look great aesthetically but don’t perform that well on the hair. Other products have packaging that isn’t inspiring, but what’s inside delivers great results. Some companies put all their emphasis on the environmental credentials, others on the fact that they have thousands of followers on TikTok.

I understand why companies pitch their products at specific audiences, but for me, I look for a 100% – ticked every box kinda brand, one that understands today’s marketplace perfectly.
NVNT™ is one of those brands, the packaging is sublime, minimal without being bland, it just looks great! The product performance, with its key ingredients, including Moleculhair technology that helps regenerate bonds, repair hair of all types, smooth the cuticle and protect colour is well balanced. NVNT™ is a comprehensive yet slimline portfolio, easy to talk about with clients who are bombarded with information about looking after their hair at home and get confused easily. As someone who firmly believes in the power of personal recommendation from a hairdresser to a client, I can’t think of many brands that have as many touch points that can satisfy a product savvy consumer as NVNT™. As a consumer who knows what [he] likes, I have been personally using the Volume Shampoo on my own hair, what little of it I have left, and I have to say that the results are very good indeed. Lots of body and structure, making my ultra fine, flyaway hair feel as though it’s got a little bit more oomph, which is very much appreciated.
Oh, and as far as marketing and story telling goes, don’t get me talking about the link to the kirby grip…. a simple invention that revolutionised hairdressing, a ubiquitous tool that has become a mainstay of every hairdressers toolkit. Just genius, and that’s what NVNT™ has the potential to be too”.
