THIS IS NEW and I’m excited. It’s not just a new brand, but also a new addition to blogs shared on this website, and potentially a new revenue stream for salons to tap into. This is the first time beauty products have been featured here. I do not claim to be an expert when it comes to skincare products, but over the years I have used lots of high quality brands including Clarins, Clarins for Men, Espa, Medik8, Clinique, and lately Davines and Prai to name just a few.
However, for the last few weeks Ive been lucky enough to be using Matter of Fact
This range is available through Salon Promotions and all I can say to hair salon owners and beauty salon owners is, this is a range you must look at!
Unlike ‘influencers’ who create elaborate videos showcasing the product in action, I am too camera shy (yes I really am) to film myself applying the product, however I will share my experiences here.
My daily routine starts with Remove + Replenish Gel Balm Cleanser which is an incredibly gentle cleanser rich with Glycerin and pH friendly Phytic Acid.

To say this cleanser feels luxurious is an understatement, the consistency is a dense gel that breaks down (in the palm of my hands) and cleanses and nourishes at the same time. It really is an extraordinary product, unlike any face wash I have used before. The preparatory effect is obvious as skin feels super hydrated after use.
Next I apply Maximalist Age-Defying Moisturizer from the innovative dispenser, it delivers enough moisturiser for one application. The ingredients including Hexylresorcinol help reduce the signs of ageing, calming and improving the tone of skin. This is another luxurious experience, the consistency of the product allows easy massaging into the skin and feels immediately better.

This is followed by (in my morning routine) with Wrinkle & Texture Concentrate (well I am 65 after all). The exact required amount is dispensed from the bottle and applied directly over the top of the moisturiser, it is absorbed immediately and, even after just 4 weeks of usage there is a noticeable difference. Encapsulated Retinol is included in the list of ingredients, and everyone knows the relevance and benefits of this key element.!

The same routine is followed on an evening, but the Wrinkle & Texture Concentrate is replaced with Resurfacing + Hydrating Serum. As I’m not an expert in all things skincare all I can go by is the fact that when I wake up the following morning my skin feels fresh, balanced and soothed. The serum gently exfoliates and hydrates, this is more than apparent to me when I feel the texture of my skin.

There are additional products in the range which I intend to use once my skin has thanked me for taking such specific care of it with the current regime.

Regular readers of this blog will know I am always advocating looking at products that can enhance the retail offering for clients in salons , and without doubt, Matter of Fact is one of those ranges, it is compact, ultra stylish, affordable, easy to talk about (if I can write about it, you can talk about it) and it brings with it a point of difference that will excite clients.

NOTE: This is a ‘not paid for’ blog, I simply write it to share my views.
