Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to be a guest speaker at an event for Salon Promotions held at the stunning Crow Wood Hotel & Spa. I’ve been fortunate enough to get to know the [Salon Promotions] team over the last few months and was delighted to attend and present to an invited audience of Neal & Wolf / Salon Promotions clients.

The venue was stunning and the presentation room was dressed to impress with all the brands carried. From Neal & Wolf (with a fantastic selection of festive gift sets) to Olaplex, Fabriq, Goddess, Cloud Nine the incredible Matter of Fact and more, the stage (and room) was well and truly set for an inspiring day.

Jade Mason, brand and marketing strategist opened up the day, welcoming everyone and outlining the days agenda, and she was brilliantly on hand all day to keep the schedule on track.
Neil Capstick, Managing Director took to the stage to say thanks to the 180+ guests for taking time out to attend the day and gave an overview of what to expect.

Then it was my turn (part 1) … it wouldn’t take a lot of thinking to guess what I was speaking about … RETAIL, of course! The audience were very receptive and (hopefully) took away information that they would be able to use in their salons.

Neil followed in a Q&A with Jade and answered questions about the company and its future plans, including his stellar career journey and the interesting story of where the brand name Neal & Wolf came from.

Next on stage was Neal & Wolf Influencer Joseph Boylan who was interviewed by Jade as he created uber stylish curls on his model whilst giving a great insight into the world of social media and what being an influencer is all about.
The rising star award was next, a great opportunity for salon stylists to enter a competition to win a fantastic chance to be a member of the influencer team for Neal & Wolf. The three finalists received rapturous applause from the audience as they waited to see who would be the overall winner.
Lunch gave everyone the opportunity to browse the displays and speak to experts for all of the SALON PROFESSIONAL brands that were displayed around the room.

Then it was me (again), this time talking about another passion of mine, GENERATIONS. Once again, the audience were very receptive, as they had been throughout the entire day.

And then it was model time, the creative team led by head of education Laura Elliot, who presented colour trends for 2026 which the team then brought to life with their model presentations. From classic blondes to pop blue, the models showcased Neal & Wolf colour perfectly.

Then it was time to wrap up, there was a raffle with incredible prizes to be had!
For me, this was an incredible day that showcased products that salons can carry that offer a point of difference from mass market brands, and it was more than obvious from the attendees that they were well and truly engaged with everything that was on show and with the team from Salon Promotions and their product suppliers.
