It’s almost Christmas 2022, where has this year gone? I say it more and more frequently as I get older, but it really does seem that time flies. It’s been a bumpy ride once again, the year started off with high hopes but then the financial crisis, the ongoing war, the cost of living, fuel crisis, inflation and lots of other thing came along that impacted on the year.

Of course we also lost our Queen. Elizabeth, who has been a constant in all our lives passed away and the mantle was handed over to King Charles.

Parliament was, as usual, chaos, but the debacle that was ‘who is or who isn’t PM’ was just a joke.

But in amongst all that, daily life has continued and I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who has supported my business throughout 2022.

This year saw the launch of Don’t Sell Volume 2 and on a personal note I have to say the biggest THANKS of all to Tanya Garland and her team at Cool Blue brand Communications for, once again, bringing my vision to life with the fantastic design and layout that they created. I would also like to say THANK YOU to everyone who invested in copies of the book, words can never express how grateful I am for you spending your hard earned money on something that means so much to me. The feedback I have received from lots of you has been very encouraging, and for that I will be forever grateful.

To the salons that have invested in me training with your teams, THANK YOU, in a world packed full of independent business consultants, putting your trust in me is a humbling experience and one that I will forever be grateful for. Getting to spend time with hairdressers, barbers and salon teams is very rewarding for me, and I am so happy that you all enjoyed and got something from the time spent with you.

To the product manufacturers who have invited me into their world to share information with sales and education teams, THANK YOU. It is always highly motivational and educational for me to spend time with teams from companies who work with hairdressers, your knowledge of what is going on at grass roots level is always inspirational.

My social media clients, THANKS for being so trusting with your social world. I strive to maintain levels of relevance for your followers, and each day that I post on your behalf it’s great to see the engagement your pages get. You keep my brain active as it is a constant challenge to come up with new ideas and imagery whilst battling against TikTok. #IfYouKnowYouKnow
