New styling products are always a great hit with the review team as everyone likes to play with something different on their hair! The reviewer chosen is a close friend who is a hairdresser as I wanted a ‘professional’ view on these two new editions to the idHair elements range.

“I know what I like when it comes to styling and finishing my clients hair and I tend to stick to 4 our 5 favourites that do the job without me having to think too much about them. mrH has been asking me to review products for a long time and I always say no because, as I say, I know what I like! This time though I bowed to pressure and took the idHair Elements  Exclusive Play Instant Texture and Soft Paste to give them a go as I felt that if I didn’t mrH might stop getting in touch full stop!

‘Both products do a really good job, the Instant Texture Spray certainly does what it says on the tin, a quick spray through clients hair and there’s the texture! I enjoyed using this on shorter choppy hairstyles to ruffle the hair up without making it look wet or waxy, it creates a great flexible hold that can be played with all day. VERY GOOD.  Soft Paste is also a really good product, different to the spray but still great for creating movement and texture in the hair. I like this for medium length hair that requires additional moisture when styling and finishing as it has a great texture that adds moisture without dragging the shape down. VERY GOOD.

‘I checked out the id website and I’m quite impressed with their philosophy and how they are trying their best to look after the environment with recycling, vegan friendly products and a focus on sustainability. mrH has me won over, I’ll definitely experiment more with my product selection in the future and perhaps I can get my boss to look at stocking some of this brand”.
