We were recently sent a selection of new products, Fudge Professional Surf Paste, Monat Color Locking+ Protective Spray and Osmo Detoxify Shampoo, so as is always the case they were shipped out to some of our reviewers who love to try new products and and here are their comments.
John was given Osmo Detoxify Shampoo as he uses a lot of styling products on his hair, short, textured and medium in texture, here’s what he had to say:
” I do use lots of styling products on my hair because of I don’t it just looks flat and has no body or texture to it. Sometimes, when I’ve shampooed it I can feel the wax or paste that I have been using, and my hair doesn’t look clean so this product from Osmo intrigued me. Detoxify Shampoo makes my hair and scalp feel squeaky clean, really fresh and there is no product residue left at all. I like the fragrance of the product and the packaging as it’s very neutral, but it is the performance that really has impressed me. I’ll continue using this once the bottle is finished which might be a while as you only need a very small amount. Thanks for letting me try out such a great product”.
June used Monat Color Locking+ Protective Spray, here’s her thoughts:
“First things first, this product from Monat smells amazing, it has a really soft fruity fragrance. My hair is coloured, and I have it refreshed every four weeks. Because it’s a high lift colour it can be sometime feel a little dry after the first few washes. Locking+ Protective Spray is a really good product, not only does my hair feel moisturised after using it, I love a leave in product, so easy to use, and I can also see a real difference in the longevity of my blonde, it has kept its vibrancy so much longer. I’m not familiar with this brand but will be checking out what else is available as I really like it”.
Dave was given Fudge Professional Surf Paste and here are his thoughts:
“I have very thick, unruly hair, that’s what my barber tells me, and most products don’t really have much effect on it. I find that they look okay for a little while and then seem to get absorbed and leave nothing behind.Surf paste is one of the bet products I’ve used as it gives me a lot of salty texture which lasts much better than most other products. I have used other Fudge products previously, waxes, but I prefer a paste and this one seems to be, at last, one that delivers the hold and texture I want. Brilliant”.
