TAOH (The Art Of Hair) is a brand that this blog is familiar with. We are also familiar with the hairdressing legends that created the products. It’s been a while since the range has been reviewed here, but prior to Christmas a wonderful festive gift box arrived and it was duly shipped off to one of the review panel.
Here’s what Sarah had to say:
“I have short hair that is quite fine and difficult to manage. Most products I have tried in the past weigh my hair down so it looks flat and limp, which isn’t great when it’s supposed to be full of body and texture. My hairdresser recommends products but they are very expensive and I work to a tight budget so I don’t buy them. Emil has given me some great products to try before, but this is the first time I have come across TAOH. The packaging was so cute, the box and the red and black wrap was very festive.
‘I opened it way before Christmas so I have been using the three products, volume shampoo, volume conditioner and matt clay for a while now and I have to say, I’m very happy with them. They look great, have a lovely fragrance, work very well and are affordable, a big big plus for me.
‘The volume shampoo feels amazing when I wash my hair, the lather is very rich and you can tell (well I can) that it is doing a great job. The volume conditioner is also amazing, making my hair feel instantly smoothed, moisturised and completely tangle free. When I blow dry my hair after using these two products I have more bounce and volume that I get from most other products. I was nervous about the matt clay as normally the moment I apply a finishing product my hair just goes flat and looks dirty or greasy. Not this time, a tiny amount worked into the palms of my hands and applied to my hair gives lots of texture and hold. I am very happy with these products and will definitely buy them online when I need to replenish my stock. Thank you TAOH, your shampoo, conditioner and clay are amongst the very best I have ever used”.
