Rescue My. Hair shampoo bars
I’m super impressed with the guys behind Rescue My. Hair for launching this great idea into the marketplace. Shampoo bars have been reviewed on my previous website before. Created by Greg Couzens they were a runaway success with the review panel (and myself) so it’s time now to see what the latest reviewers thought about the 4 variants.
Rescue My. Hair™ Volume Shampoo Bar
Enhance hair health and volume with extracts of Soja germ extract, fava bean extract, pea extract, kidney bean extract.
Fragranced with Lotus and Cherry Blossom.
I used this bar and was amazed at how it just felt like a normal volumizing shampoo, once the product has been applied and lathered up it felt great. The interesting thing is that the bar last for ages, I was thinking it might break down very quickly but it doesn’t, and the feel of my hair and scalp afterwards was excellent.

Contains Wild rose seed oil extract, Olive Oil, Grapeseed oil, Corn germ oil, Sunflower seed oil.
Fragranced with Patchouli & Sandalwood
Christine says “Bloody marvellous, not only did it make my hair feel really moisturised and soft, it also gave my colour as much needed shine boost. Carol says “What an interesting concept and what a great result I got from using this bar. I was cynical at first but it really did hydrate my coarse hair and make it feel as good as any high end shampoo I’ve used previously. I had to follow it with a conditioner but that’s the norm for my hair anyways. My husband also had a go and he was very impressed too. We both like the fact the product has minimal waste associated with it and that the packaging is easily recyclable”.

Janet says “Because I swim a lot I’m always aware of the chlorine that can get in my hair so this was ideal. Easy to carry and easy to use it’s just brilliant. I pop it into my toiletry bag in its box after use (once I’ve dried it off) and it stays there till the next time I go swimming. My hair feels really cleansed after using it and it doesn’t have that squeaky clean feel that some shampoos give, which I don’t like. It’s a very good shampoo, that at first I thought wouldn’t be enough for my hair, but it really is”.
