This blog recently took delivery of 4 styling products courtesy of SHED – Salon Hair Every Day. The products, X in 1 Multi Perfect Treatment Spray, Force Field Heat Styling Protection Spray, Peace Out Dry Wax Texture Spray and Clay Dough Matte Finish Styling Paste have been given out to a select few salons to test and review. They have also been given out to some of the regular reviewers for this site and here’s their feedback. I like this brands philosophy of being Salon Professional, and even though it’s [also] available on Amazon it is at a higher price point!
Clay Dough

Joe says “This dough (clay) is perfect for my hair, it’s got loads of hold and really keeps my style in shape all day long. It’s non shiny which I like a lot and the consistency is firm but pliable so when I work it through the palms of my hands before applying it really does become malleable and easy to work with”.
Dave says “I have had lots of styling products from Emil to try and this rates as one of the best. Great smell, great texture, easy to use and gives a great result too, it’s matte but not too flat so my hair looks really well styled when I use it, not ‘day after’ like some pastes and clays make it look’.
Peace Out

Jim (new reviewer) says “Well I didn’t know what to expect when I asked if I could review some products for this website, but I was given a product called Peace Out, which kind of freaked me out a little bit. I have longish hair that I like to look natural and I had a vision of me looking like I had stepped straight out of Woodstock. Thankfully I was wrong, this wax texture spray creates really cool dishevelled styling on my hair and I’m hooked on how simple it is to use and the effects it creates. A brilliant start to my reviewing here, fingers crossed I get more”.
Cheryle says “I’m not a fan of styling products really as they all tend top make my hair look too set and styled which I don’t particularly like. I was given Peace Out and X in 1 (it’s amazing). Peace Out gives my hair a look that I really like, it’s not greasy, it’s not waxy, it juts creates a cool relaxed texture, it’s fair to say I am converted and impressed”.
X in 1

Cheryle (again) says: “My hair isn’t in bad condition, that’s what Emil told me, but I don’t use conditioning products very often. I agreed to try X in 1 and I have to say, I’m won over. The spray is very lightweight and that means it doesn’t weigh my hair down, in actual fact it seems to give more volume. And the thing I like the most is the feels and shine, something I have to admit I don’t usually have”.
Debbie says: “X in 1, well I have used other products that claim to have multiple benefits. Some of them genuinely do, some not so much, but X in 1 certainly delivers. My long hair soaks this treatment up and feels like new after it’s worked its magic. No more frizziness, no more flyaways, just a healthy looking head of shiny hair. Thank you”.
Force Field

Lynne says: “10 out of 10 for this product. I use it before blowdrying and also before my straighteners do their job. My hair feels like it’s protected and nourished. A little goes a long way, which I always appreciate. I also use it when I don’t want to shampoo my hair but it needs refreshing. A light spray before the irons and my hair looks brand new”.
Claire says” “Thank you Emil and SHED, love that name by the way, very clever. Force Field is one of the best heat protectors I have used, it doesn’t feel sticky or like it is layered on my hair but I can tell that I have protected it as I plough through it with my straighteners on max heat, I know I’m not supposed to do that, but with X in 1 I feel like I’m really taking care of the hair and the results always look exactly as I want them to”.
