Alterna My Hair My Canvas products have proven to be very popular with reviewers here on this website, and the latest products we received, for curly hair have been reviewed by Katie, a lover of anything to help with her natural curls.

“Thank You Emil for introducing me to Alterna. It’s a brand I was not familiar with but I have to say I am a convert. For the last 5 years I have been using Nioxin as I lost a lot of my hair after having two children in quick succession. Now that the hair loss has stopped I wanted to do something to give my curls their bounce back and this collection has certainly done that.
The shampoo and conditioner are so lovely to use, my hair felt amazing from the very first time I used them and it continues to do so. My curls are more defined and have so much more bounce and no frizzy flyaways. The ‘more butter’ masque is pure luxury in a tub. This treatment is so nourishing, my hair feels incredible after I’ve used it, which is once every 4 – 5 shampoos. A very small amount goes a very long way but the feel afterwards is just top notch. I really like the ‘curl defining gel’ as it gives my hair hold and texture without feeling heavy or sticky, plus, it’s fantastic for refreshing my hair on day 2, all I do is spray a little water through it, scrunch it up and it’s good to go. Curl elongator has to be my favourite product though, it’s like nothing I’ve every used before. When I apply it and blow dry or scrunch it the curls seems to appear longer, lusher, more defined, very shiny, and smooth. It really is unbelievable what it does.
Categorically these are the best products I have ever had the opportunity to use on my hair and I will definitely be investing in them from now on”.
