It’s coming soon – Don’t Sell Volume 3: Being Amazonian, taking control of salon professional retail. I thought about this long and hard. Self publishing books is a hard slog, it takes a financial commitment, it causes sleepless nights, it’s a big challenge. But after successfully launching two books to date, and with the incredible changes that are happening in the salon professional retail arena, it felt like I had to do it.

Notes, I take them all the time, when something happens or I read something that is of interest, I jot them down and use them as research. I also avidly read about what’s going on in the world of hairdressing and haircare – as you will know of you read blogs on this website.

And so, book 3 is happening.

The chapter headings are sorted, the majority of the words are written (typed). Next up is the proofreading, the amends, the design and layout, which will match Volumes 1 & 2, and then it will be published.

This volume is definitely the one where I stand loud and proud on my soapbox, sharing views about the changes to professional retail and how salons can reinvent their retail offering, whilst also looking at how different generations shop, the ever changing high street landscape, and the growing need from consumers for experiences that help them decide on what products they want to purchase.

My aim…. the dream would be January 2025 for a launch. I will keep you posted.
