It’s that time of the year when we all start thinking about holidays, summer is on its way! As I write this sat at my office desk the sun is shining and the windows are open letting in the first real heat of the year. It makes me think of far off places where the sea breeze wafts as you stop at a gorgeous café for an Aperol Spritz.
And so, our friends at Balmain have launched their latest collection. Riviera, which evokes the lingering heat of the sun, long nights by the water and a sizzling summer breeze soaring through your hair; a life by the French Riviera.
The new Spring Summer collection by Balmain Hair Couture is an ode to the decadent life led alongside the notorious waters and commemorates the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea, alongside the product collections, there is also a collection of new hair accessories created to elevate your look whilst strolling along the French boulevard, ultra stylish, taking inspiration from the iconic Breton Stripes print.
There are three beautiful coffret sets, Soleil, Moisture and Volume.
Soleil includes the Sun Protection Spray (200ml) created carefully to prevent any sun damage, the Texturizing Salt Spray (200ml) to help realize that easy- going beachy look and a new, White Cellulose Acetate Hair Barrette.
Moisture consists of the Moisturizing Styling Cream (150 ml) to tame frizz, the, Leave in Conditioning Spray (200ml) to nourish and detangle your hair and an elegant Breton striped scrunchi.
Volume includes the Volume Shampoo (300ml) to nourish and add body, the Volume Conditioner (300ml) to cleanse and strengthen the hair, and the Leave in Conditioning Spray (200ml) which detangles and provides shine.
Alongside the haircare products there is, as always a stunning array of accessories; Pinces à cheveux (hair clips available in three sizes), the Cognac Riviera Headband in two sizes, made from Napa leather with an 18 carat gold logo, the Riviera Barrette in two sizes, and the Riviera Headband Gold (Small). The cognac and gold colourations make for a luxurious feel to the beautiful hair accessories.
