Okay, you already know I am a big fan of Balmain Hair Couture, and readers of this blog will know that the reviewers here also love to get their hands on the range. Personally, I have always been a fan of the moisturising styling cream, it’s the perfect balance of hold, shine and weightlessness for my ultra fine hair.

I have also been very impressed with the mens grooming range, the hair and body wash and the scalp scrub are exceptional products, they look great, smell amazing and deliver excellent performance.

Over the last 6 or so weeks I have been using the brand new bodyfying shampoo, conditioner and activating scalp treatment. Now, if you have read any of the blog posts shared by me over the last few years you will know that I am an avid user of hair-loss products and for the last 33 years I have used most brands product selections. I consider myself well versed in how good hair-loss related products are and can tell whether or not they are doing their job on my hair and scalp quite quickly.

This is what Balmain say about the latest additions to their Homme range:

When men get older they often suffer from thinning hair concerns. While there is nothing to do about genetics, the Balmain Homme Bodyfying care line helps to stimulate hair growth and make the hair feel denser and lifted.

Haircare for men with thinning hair that works best as a hair care routine for denser, thicker, full-bodied hair.
This is what I say:
Balmain Bodyfying shampoo, conditioner and activating scalp treatment are up there with the very best hair-loss related products I have used over the last 33 years. Kerastase, System Professional, L’oreal Serioxyl and Goldwell have all delivered exceptional results for my hair and scalp. I accept that I am losing my hair, slowly slowly, but losing it nonetheless. Some products I have used don’t give me the feeling of cleanliness, refreshing, tingly sensations and added ‘oomph’ to the density of each individual hair strand. All of the above do, and so does Balmain Bodyfying.
The shampoo is a delight, tingly, giving me super clean hair and scalp with the added glory of the gorgeous Balmain Homme signature fragrance. For the first time in a long long time I am using a conditioner, I never usually bother because my hair is so short, but, a revelation has happened. Using the conditioner, leaving it on whilst showering has definitely been a game changer for me. Hair feels softer but stronger, has less fluffiness when dried and there is a significant visual appearance of thicker hair (it’s not thick but it most certainly looks it). The activating scalp treatment is refreshing,  cool, easily applied and leaves my scalp feeling energised and invigorated, The active ingredients Procapil and caffeine are there to help maintain the hair density and stimulate hair growth, and I really see that happening on my own scalp.
My daily routine is finished of with a spritz of Balmain Homme Hair perfume and my day is good to go!!
Well done to the team at Balmain Hair Couture for creating such a fabulous addition to the Homme range, this will, without doubt, be my go to hair and scalp care range from now on.
