Following on from my personal blog posts and review of idhair solutions, here are the reviews from some fo the review panel here at mrhaircare’s blog.
Shampoo No.1 and No.2 were both given to Dave, along with Lotion No.4. He has a job that requires the wearing of a hard hat and as such his scalp is always greasy, flaky and itchy… a myriad of problems so he seems the ideal candidate to give both to. Here’s what he says:
“First things first, I’ve never used anything specialised on my hair before so when I was given these two bottles of shampoo I was confused as to what the difference might be. Emil shared the info so I kind of understand now. My normal shampoo is just a regular well known anti dandruff my wife gets me and it always gets rid of the flakes but they come back very quickly. I’ve used the 2 versions consecutively and there has been a very noticeable difference. I’m not at work right now so the hard hat hasn’t been on which has made a difference, but both of the little bottles of product have done a very good job. No.1 is for dandruff, itchiness and a greasy scalp, this is the one I feel has been of most benefit as my scalp does get quite greasy and this has stopped it, whereas I would normally have to wash my hair twice a day, I’m now down to every other day! I like the effect of this shampoo as its very refreshing when used. Shampoo No.2 is as good and the thing I really notice about this one is it has totally stopped me itching my scalp, totally! I’m happy with both and when I get back to work and have to start wearing my hard hat again, I’m opting for No.1. The lotion is something I’d probably not consider using under normal circumstances, yet it’s the one product I absolutely wouldn’t give up on now. My scalp is invigorated, tingly and clean after use. The effect is long lasting and it also, as an added bonus, gives my hair a really good shine as well. Great product.
Solution No.6 was given to Dave’s wife Mandy as she has coloured hair and is an avid fan of quality, professional products. She likes to use Wella Professionals product so I thought this would be a good one for her to try. Here’s her thoughts:
“I really like Wella, and have used their hairdresser professional brands for many years after originally being recommended them by Emil when he worked there. I’m loyal to my brands and don’t often move away from them so using something I’ve never heard off was always going to be interesting. This conditioner is really lovely, it nourished my hair, made it feel smooth and soft, added lots of shine and made my colour look brighter. It would have been nice to try the shampoo as well, but Emil explained there isn’t one just yet. The fragrance is nice, the texture is lovely and the performance is excellent. The packaging is a little clinical in relation to my Wella products but that doesn’t matter. In relation to my normal products this is as good, I might even be a convert!
