I gave the [5 week treatment] to Dawn, one of the most demanding reviewers, she always gives very honest feedback, and here is what she had to say:
“I’m not sure why mrH calls me demanding, maybe it’s because I know what I like and I like what I know, so I’m not one for changing products very often, and they have to be incredible for me to move away from anything that I know suits my hair. I have never tried anything that had a specific time scale to it, usually I’m using treatments as and when I feel my hair needs them or because mrH has given me something to test. So this 5 week treatment from Balmain was interesting as I was told to use it every week for 5 weeks!
First things first, it looks very expensive, so much so that I googled it and discovered the kit costs £62.95 which I initially thought was very expensive, but I’ll get to that later.
I was very impressed with the level of information about how to use the treatments and what they actually did, and the luxurious packaging and 5 individual tubes of treatment really made me think I was in for something very special.
I was right, the treatments are fantastic. Once a week for 5 weeks I used them as instructed, instead of my normal conditioner and left them on my hair for 15 minutes each time.
What did I notice? The texture of my hair felt silky soft and full of life, it was bouncy and strong, the shine is like glass and when I blow dry my hair it feels much improved. I would say it’s the best product mrH has ever given me to try and as far as the cost is concerned, it pales into insignificance in relation to the effect it has had on my hair. At just over £10 per treatment it actually feels like good value for money and I’ll most definitely be using them again.
