I was recently given the new idHair Solutions range  to hand out to mrhaircare’s review panel, I was also given some to try out myself, and as you will know if you follow this blog, I do like to try anything and everything related to hair-loss.

Thank you Alison Jameson Consultants and Lyndsey Ford of THS, you have kept me (personally) supplied with ample product whilst in lockdown.

Naturally, the review panel have been given their products to review, but this post is purely about idhair Solutions No.7 which I have been using for the last couple of months on my own hair and scalp. I have also used No.3 which is an everyday shampoo, purely to see and feel what the difference is like.

No.3 shampoo is incredibly kind and gentle, you can feel the ‘softness’ of the formulation when you cleanse the hair and scalp, it’s light, not too much lather and the after effect is one of a sense of well being, it’s lovely and I am very impressed with it.

No.7 shampoo and treatment are what I was really interested in (of course) and I have to say that after using them for the better part of 8 weeks the results are very impressive. The shampoo is invigorating, refreshing and tingly, all good signs as far as I’m concerned. the consistency, whilst a little thicker than I would prefer does mean the product is highly concentrated, and a little goes a long long way. My hair feels stronger, more resilient and healthy after use, and my scalp feels cleansed and refreshed with a great cool after effect. The treatment is also very good, a liquid that spreads easily, although I have to be careful when applying as it can run down the neck if it’s not massaged in immediately. Once again, a little goes a long way. After massaging it into the scalp and getting the blood circulation going it’s simply a matter of putting my hair into place and leaving it to dry. When it is dry I then simply rub my hands through the hair to take away the wet look and it stays in place all day. The treatment is not a styling product but it has enough ‘gumption’ to keep my hair looking styled, which for me is a big plus. What I also notice is the volume in my hair makes it look fuller. I notice signs of new growth and the existing hair is definitely stronger …. So all in all I’m delighted with the range and it would definitely be a product I’d purchase as and when needed.

Here’s the official info relating to the ingredients.
