Regular readers of this blog will know that I don’t get much chance to review products myself, mainly because I don’t have enough hair to warrant testing some of the fabulous products that come my way.
However, I have been fortunate enough to try two products recently. Actually, I have been testing 4, two of which are mass market products (yes really) that have just been launched to help improve hair growth. There will be a blog about them soon (and it won’t be a glowing one).
It’s not often I dedicate a blog to a single product, in fact one of the last times was when I shared my thoughts on a Davines product called ‘A Single Shampoo’ – but the styling products I’ve been using recently deserve their own moment.
Back to the products. Styling my paper fine hair is always an issue, anything I use is either too heavy and makes my fine hair feel weighed down and looking greasy, or doesn’t have enough hold to control the fluffiness and flyaways. Not so with Shed Shapeshifter Molding Pliable Hair Shaper. This medium hold texturising wax cream, which has a semi-matte finish moulds hair to create a lived-in look, and it really does work.

I have been using this style shaper for about 8 weeks on and off now, and every time I apply it delivers exactly what I want, a naturalised but controlled hold with a subtle matte finish. When to comes to stying products, I’m as fussy as I am about my hair loss ranges, and this fabulous ‘shape shifter’ delivers everything I want from a product, it does what it says on the tin, it’s affordable, it feels great in my hair and is very concentrated, a little really does go a long long way!
*NOTE The reviewers who have been using the other SHED (Salon hair Every Day) products that I received are loving this brand, more reviews to follow.
