Davines have launched their festive gift sets and they are just gorgeous.
Featuring artwork inspired by cultures from all around the world, the 2022 Holiday Collection celebrates cultural diversity as a source of inspiration, growth and positivity, something you would expect from a company like Davines.
Those of you who regularly read this bog will know that Davines is one of the brands I really admire, their ethos and everything that the company stands for in its sustainability efforts ticks lots of boxes for me. You might also know that I love an advent calendar, and this year Davines have really gone to town with their rather splendid offering, just look at all the gorgeous products that can be found tucked inside each of the 12 compartments, it’s rather fabulous isn’t it.
I also, always admire their marketing strategies, quirky, individual, always with a hint of humour, the marketeers really know how to make the products stand out in a market saturated with different products. This seasons Davines Gift Sets are inspired by the beauty of different cultures, artists and literatures from all around the world. They say “We believe diversity and inclusivity are the key to a happy holiday season and a happier world, don’t you?” And I couldn’t agree more with the sentiment.
I love the imagery on the gift sets, and I also love the imagery promoting them, there’s a nostalgic feeling, nostalgic but bang on trend as well.
Each box contains artwork depicting the beauty of cultures from all around the world and their diversity, as seen through the eyes of an American artist who has interpreted them in oil paintings on canvas. Literature chosen from each culture is also featured in the gift set 🌍
This year the gift sets cover every possible hair type and includes the rather splendid Oi, one of the very best nourishing ranges available; Nou Nou and blonde specific range Heart of Glass; who else but Davines could call a product line Heart Of Glass??
Also include in the mix is a new discovery for me, Pasta & Love, where has this been hiding all my life, it sits there with ‘A SINGLE SHAMPOO’ in my fave product collections. The hair, body and beard wash is utterly divine, the consistency of the product works great on both hair and skin, and the fragrance…. a powerful circus scent is fabulous, it should be an eau de toilette as well!!
